The Witch

Hi Everyone
I have some exciting news . It is the first challenge for the PURPLE TEAM at Eclectic Ellapu a new Challenge blog that started last week. It's my choice this week and it is  Anything Halloween. The DT have done a fantastic job. Please go and check out their designs they are amazing.  You will find lots of inspiration there. So come on over and join in the Spooky fun this week at Eclectic Ellapu
Thank you to everyone that entered the PINK TEAM'S challenge last week. We were all amazed by the amount of entries. Winners will be announced on Wednesday. Anyway for this card I downloaded the witch, bat's and cat from Far Far Hill a free digi site. I coloured the witch with copic pens, prisma pencils and pan pastels, added glitter to her shawl. The background is a photo of the moon laid onto card coloured with pan pastels and glitter to look like stars. I found the poem online and thought it was great for the image. I will be entering this into the following challenges

Demented

It's challenge time again at Art With No Boundaries October and Halloween. For October, think of Fall Colors, Rustling Leaves, and Big Orange Pumpkins and for Halloween, Black Cats, Outrageous Costumes, Spooky, Haunted, Ghosts, Goblins, Ghouls and even something dark and Gothic.
I made the background paper with the Mystical, Magical or Frightening sentiment from CS Designs Then coloured it with pan pastels. I have used a couple of embossing folders and my silhouette to cut out the spider web and bats. Coloured  Haunting Apparition Dementia also from CS Designs with prisma pencils added black gems around her eyes also some red ones to the centre of her eyes just to make her look more sinister. For even more inspiration check out the all the other DT'S SPOOKY designs Especially our Guest Designer for the month Lyn's Blog / Blackdragon  . I will be entering this into the following challenges

Mummyfication

BOO !!!

dem bones! dem bones! dem dry bones! I had so much fun with this! It's challenge time at Recycle, Re-purpose & Re-invent  . This months challenge is October Halloween with a Bonus Round called No Bones About It. For October Halloween think fall colours, black cats, anything spooky, haunted and even Goth. For our No Bones About It Bonus Round, we want to see Bones. These may be real bones or faux bones and the only stipulation on faux bones is that they can not be printed pictures or made of paper. I do hope that you do not suffer with arachnophobia? If so open with care.I recycled the box and painted it to make a stone tomb. Here's my attempt at making a mummy. I wrapped a doll in crepe bandages and then covered her in hessian, recycled from a potato sack.  I coloured solitaire Solitaire Mummified/Ribbons from CS Designs  with copic markers cut out and attached to make the face. For even more inspiration check out the all the other DT'S SPOOKY designs Especially our Guest Designer for the month Lyn's Blog / Blackdragon  . I will be entering this into the following challenges
